2. Jigs and Reels

2/207 I'm kind of bad at this whole reading thing at the moment. I finished the second book, Jigs and Reels by Joanne Harris a few days ago. It was a lovely book with short stories some nicer than the other and some not so nice, at least in my opinion, maybe because for me stories still mean innocence, so reading a short story with a sexual theme was a bit disturbing, but nonetheless interesting. Out of all the stories my favourite was one that I've actually read before, a few years ago, I'm not sure when, but I recognised it straight away, about a nostalgic teacher who's quite innocent hobby is to sit on a bench in front of the school playground where he used to work when he was younger, and watch the children play. I believe the moral of the story is that some people really are innocent and not just some pedophiles spying on their next victim, that at times, you have to pay more attention to people's actions, ask more questions, to figure out their intentions and not just judge them at first sight.
